FAQ

La Cantine pour tous

How does the meal service work?

Meals are prepared and served directly in Sutton School’s cafeteria by our cheffes.
You place your orders online through the La Cantine pour tous platform, and we take care of the rest!

Step 1: Create your account
  •  Go to the La Cantine pour tous website

  • Click on “Log in / Sign up”

  • Create an account in your name (or log in if you already have one)

Step 2: Find your school

Once logged in, enter the name of your child’s school (e.g.: Sutton School)

Select Racine Pop as the meal provider

Step 3: Choose your meals
  • View the weekly menu prepared by our cheffes

  • Check the days you would like to order a meal

  • Add the selected meals to your cart

If you have more than one child enrolled at the school, you will be able to select which child the order is for before confirming the meal.
This allows you to choose different meals for each child, based on their tastes or dietary needs.

Step 4: Checkout
  • Review your choices (days, meals, children, quantities)
  • Select the amount you wish to pay (between $1 and $6, according to the social pricing model)
  • Pay securely online by credit card
Step 5: Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.

Meals will then be prepared and served at school on the selected day.

Nothing else to do — your child simply needs to go to the cafeteria!

Racine Pop

Yes! Racine Pop increasingly incorporates local and seasonal ingredients into its menus, in partnership with regional producers.

Our goal is to increase the proportion of regional and sustainable foods every year.

Three passionate cheffes, present every day in the school kitchen, prepare and serve meals to the children.

They prioritize healthy, colorful dishes adapted to young tastes.

Our cheffes know the children and their needs well, and they have up-to-date allergen sheets.

However, if you are ordering for a child with an allergy, please contact us via the form so we can discuss the options and ensure your child’s safety.

Meals are designed for children, with appropriate portions and balanced flavors.

Our cheffes encourage children to taste without forcing them.

Feel free to write to us if you are interested in receiving meals prepared by Racine Pop for a daycare.

We work primarily with regional producers, groceries and farms, in order to support the local economy and highlight local foods.

Next, we collaborate with a supplier that prioritizes Quebec-grown foods, and as a last resort, we source certain products from elsewhere.

Absolutely! Racine Pop wishes to share its experience and inspire other schools.

If you are an institution or organization interested, contact us to learn more about our model and our support.

Our donations directly support our projects:

  • Maintaining healthy and affordable meals for all children;
  • Setting up a solidarity fridge for students who did not have breakfast;
  • Creating workshops and activities around food and developing food literacy projects;
  • And our wildest dream is to eventually plant a food forest on the school grounds.

Racine Pop always welcomes new ideas and helping hands!

You can write to us via our contact form to learn about current needs, whether it’s helping during meal service, participating in events, or supporting our community projects.

Yes! Desserts are prepared based on fresh ingredients available.
